Killer Movie review

Thanks, Jor for pointing this out. And note there could be some spoiling to the film if you read the review just to say as warning. :)

In 'Killer Movie,' more famous = less time to live

One of the pleasures of Jeff Fisher’s ‘Killer Movie’ is watching the order in which the young, gorgeous characters get picked off. You’ve got Leighton Meester (omg Blair Waldorf from ‘Gossip Girl’), Robert Buckley (omg that stone-cold fox Kirby from ‘Lipstick Jungle’) and even J.C. Chasez (omg Chace Crawford’s boyfriend - kidding!), plus a gaggle of other hotties and hunks.

In some horror movies, the kids die in order of sinfulness, or recklessness, or pure prettiness. In this one, they die in order of… fame!

Chasez is the first to disappear. Okay, he doesn’t die, but he storms off the set of the high school reality show that is the focal point of the movie and is replaced by the less-musical and more-actory Paul Wesley.

Then it’s Leighton’s turn. She’s arguably as famous as JC, but, hey, she was never in a band with Justin Timberlake. We asked her to describe her character. ‘I mean, I don’t want to give away too much,’ she said. ‘She is… not long for this world?’

Four words: Worst. Motorbike. Ride. Ever.

Buckley gets more breathing time. His gory end is buried somewhere in the middle of the flick, even after the frigid cheerleading coach (Jennifer Murphy, a former Miss Oregon) has an ‘accident’ in wood shop. (‘That was actually a real table saw,’ she told us.) But then again, Robert made this movie long before the ladies of NBC and the world were gasping over his flawless torso.

Which - spoiler alert! - is right where he gets it.
